Made a Bebo Skin in paintshop pro

I joined bebo awhile ago so i could keep up to date with my nephews memorial page that his friends had created for him, then i realised that most of my family had one too and they where regularly using them to keep in touch, so i decided to give it more of a personal touch and add pictures and such, and then i tried making a skin, this is the top part

and the bottom part

if you click on them it will show you a larger image, although the top part has been resized for showing purposes only, so it may not look as clear, i did enter this into the skin database but after doing it i realised i had my name on it oops lol, so i will be correcting it in the next few days and putting it up here on the freebie page, so keep an eye out for it 🙂

hopefully i will get around to doing some more as i quite enjoyed it.

Cranberry Sauce with pineapple and mandarin oranges

Cranberries with Pineapple and Mandarin Oranges
1 bag of fresh or Frozen Cranberries
1 small tin of mandarin oranges
1 small tin of pineapple tidbits
1 cup of water
1cup of white sugar
put cup of water and cranberries in a pot and bring to boil stirring often. Turn down to simmer and let cranberries pop still stir often. When all berries have popped add sugar (I find 1 cup sugar too sweet) then let cool. Open fruit tins and drain off juice add to cranberries and mix well. Pour into container and put in fridge till ready to use. Enjoy

about motherhood and how it effects us

sorry not been around it has been a busy weekend as it was my sons 7th birthday and my nieces 8th birthday,

so i haven’t had time to write up our favourite links, instead i will leave you with this, someone sent me this email so i thought i would share 🙂

Before I was a Mum,
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about carseats.
Before I was a Mum,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.

I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mum,
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests, or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mum,
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn’t want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn’t stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mum.

Before I was a Mum –

I didn’t know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn’t know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn’t know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn’t know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mum –
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.

I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache,
The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mum.
I didn’t know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mum.
